Lakeside Restaurant

LOVED this place!  We went for lunch and sat outside.  I could have spent the whole day there!  Food is not fancy but great.  I had a fabulous burger.  Everyone who worked there was super friendly, helpful and professional.

New to the area but will definitely come back! The shrimp cocktail was amazing as was the veal Marsala

Went to the Lakeside last night hoping to get prime rib like we used to get at the Knotty Pine.  The website for the Lakeside says they got the secret from the Knotty Pine owners.  The Knotty Pine owners must have given them the wrong recipe.  The prime rib was smothered in minced garlic.  You could tell the prime rib had potential, it just wasn't all that great.  We also got the Chicken Delphi.  If you like vinegar, you'll like this dish.  The service was absolutely excellant!!  Our waiter, Jake, made our visit to The Lakeside enjoyable.  I probably won't go again until I hear that the prime rib is a whole lot better.
