Lancer Lanes offers putt putt, bowling, arcade, a full bar with karaoke some nights, a sit down restaurant, and even a casino. Â
The Bowling: decent. Â Some big tournaments here even. Â Reasonably well maintained lanes.
The puttputt: needs work. Â I bet it was great 30 years ago.
The arcade: Kinda small, but there's some side-by-side games, as well as pool and air hockey. Â It's a nice place for underagers to play.
The bar: a bit run down, but cozy enough to hang out with some friends.
The restaurant: better than average food, but I wouldn't go much further than that.
The casino: coolest people in Clarkston work here. Â It's small but it's a good place to make some friends. Â All the dealers will learn you by name. Â The people make this the best small town casino I've seen.
Overall I'm a fan of the casino and the bowling alley. Â The rest is kinda there. Â Give your kids some quarters though and you can drink a beer in peace.
Does this place bring back memories! Â Despite its lack of state-of-the-art equipment, Lancer Lances provides a great bowling experience and fun environment. The staff is friendly and responds immediately to lane problems. Â Food and drinks are available from the center's restaurant and bar/lounge and are reasonably priced. There is a video game room in the back, but it's on the small side, so selection may not meet needs of all in the group. The billiard tables are a hit and seem to be in use at all times. The casino is also a popular feature, though not thing. The miniature golf was always a fun, entertaining time, but I haven't played here for years, so can's speak for its condition now.
A peculiar feature of this place is the prom dress shop. What is a prom dress shop doing in a bowling alley?? It was the joke of the night.
All in all, this place is a great place for families and friends to find some fun.
