If you are looking for great food, excellent service, and a simple place to relax and enjoy a great meal, this is it!  Even if the food wasn't as good (or better) than mom and grandma's home cooking, the service would make  you feel at home!  Stop by Sunday after noon for the best fried chicken you'll ever taste!  
Okay, so I love the place!

We hit the end of a very busy day for the restaurant. They were out of a lot of their signature dishes, but we still had good burgers and excellent chocolate pie.  Typical small town diner, good food, very friendly staff.  Worth the stop.

Do you miss Sunday chicken dinners at grandma's? Then this is the place took go. They have home-cooked food that will make you come back for more. They have awesome breakfasts (real biscuits and gravy - not something from a package) and great lunch specials that vary from day to day. You can always bed guaranteed there'll be fried chicken on Sunday and Wednesday. And don't forget about dessert... homemade cobbler or pie. Definitely worth the stop on your way to Springfield or Branson. It's about 7 miles north of Osceola Cheese (another fun stop).
