Ate there on a Sunday afternoon after a family day at the nearby Boy Scout Camp. Their pie selection was only two. We ordered one piece for our daughter and were given a horribly small piece that was obviously the end of the pan. Worse was that the table next to us got two righteous pieces of the same pie, and we ordered first. Â When I asked they provided a WONDERFUL chocolate/strawberry malt as a replacement at no charge. I had the best tenderloin I've ever eaten. The 4 stars was strictly for the taste. I am still a little miffed about the pie thing. But we'll eat there again.
Review Source:Being an avid outdoors-man I've enjoyed some great small town eats along the way over the years in Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas while in transit to or from a remote destination. In fact I'm always on the look out for these hidden gems.
So the other day I was coming back to Kansas City with a friend when we decided to stop and give Peggy's Restaurant in Collins a try. It was exactly average except for the outstanding homemade dinner rolls that weighed about a pound a piece and the pie. Definitely eat some pie.
