Monday night dinner with Friends from Stanwood. Monday is the "all you can eat shrimp" special. There are at least a dozen different preparations. Order one and order a different one next, and next and next. My favorite was the Bacon Wrapped and others had Thai Peanut and Jack Daniels Glazed. All were good. Comes with soup or salad and a side.
Nice atmosphere, nothing fancy. Service was a bit slow at first but picked up after our dinner orders. Staff very friendly and attentive. Only problem was our wine order. After two choices of a bottle of red wine we finally settled on one they actually had in stock.
Would be sure to go back especially to try their regular menu. The shrimp special was $18.95 per person. Maybe a bit pricey.
After a nice Sunday afternoon motorcycle ride, my wife and I decided to stop in a Lattitudes for dinner, it was our first time. Â The place was not crowded, but the service was sloooow. Â After being seated it took 1 hour and 20 minutes before our food came. Â They set a new record for us - longest wait ever. Â Food was good but the experience was ruined by then.
Review Source:I live south of Grand Rapids and find its well worth the drive up north for good food! Â My favorites are their seafood asiago and vanilla bean cheesecake. Â The staff is always friendly and the glasses are kept full.
It's good to call ahead if your going for supper on the weekend, but lunch
time you sit right down and enjoy!
Living in Chicago, I admit it, I am a food snob. Â I love to cook but I also love good restaurants. Â
Visiting my family in Michigan the restaurants we visit taste like the food came from Gordon Food's. Â YUCK!
Latitudes is a gem! Â The food is fresh, home-made, seasonal ingredients, and generous portions. Â
Place clean. Â Waitstaff very friendly and on top of things.
Good wine list too.
What are you waiting for? Â Onward to Howard City!
