  Very cute, very quaint. The waitress was very nice. We ordered the sopapilla burger and bison burrito. Even though the sopapilla burger was supposed to be made to order (I ordered it rare/medium rare), it came well done. Other than that, everything else was very, very tasty. The sopapillas were light and fluffy and not at all bogged down with grease like some other frybreads tend to be. The chipotle sauce in the bison burrito is absolutely dreamy. I'll be coming back.

  In 2009 this place served me a pizza that was cold in the middle--turns out, it was a frozen product. I complained to my server and the cashier, and got neither an apology nor a discount. I returned yesterday to give them another chance. The waitress overheard me talking about my previous experience, and soon the cook came out and confronted me about the review I'd posted about it online. He went back into the kitchen, and our chips and salsa took a really long time to arrive. A few minutes after we got our app, the cook came back out and told us the chips and salsa and our water were on the house and that he was refusing us service. I had a chat with him on the way out, which I captured on video:

  Way cool place to stop while in the Jemez.  Located in Jemez Springs and makes a great stop after a long ride from Albuquerque or after hiking or fishing in the Jemez.  I highly recommend the Blue Corn Dough Pizza and some of the local brew.  The desserts were good - made fresh.  Great place to close out your trip in the Jemez.
