  Dang this beef jerky is good!  My boyfriend first turned me onto it, he's been ordering it shipped to him in Seattle for a while now, and he sent some to my house. It's chewy and dense and delicious and.....wow.

  Yeah  I am squeamish of flies and that is exactly what i was going to say. My dad and I came here once and tried to get a buffet but had to turn around and leave.They may have great meats, one of the best multiple award winning beef jerkies and meat rubs plus they have been around like Forever, but seriously have they ever heard of fly traps or pest control?
  
  This is so true -A fly lands on something it want to eat and vomits, the acid in a fly's vomit soften the food so they can suck it up. What they do not suck up, they leave..umm k NO
  
  I'm just glad my grandma's house is like 30 min from here..far enough

  My family has land out by the old boy scout camp on Little Cow Creek near Kirbyville, and thank God they do or else I would have never tried the fabulous smoked meats at Lazy H.  
  
  First off - this place is crawling with flies, so if you're at all squeamish about that or about your smoked meats being left out on the counter and walked on by flies, then get someone else to stop by here for you so you don't have to see them.  My paw paw was always a stickler about neatness and he HATED this place for those reasons so if you're at all disgusted about a lack of sanitary perfection, you've been warned.
  
  The smoked foods here will knock your socks off.  I didn't even know they had smoked bacon and sausage and stuff like that for the longest time because my family would come here for the beef jerky.  The jerky is so good I can't eat any other jerky now.  It's thick and perfectly chewy and stringy and God, it's delightful with a wonderful smokey maybe hickory taste throughout the chunks of beef.  My mouth waters thinking about it.  I remember the barbecue being good, but nothing really stands out in my memory like that jerky.  If you're ever in this area you have to drop in and try it.  Buy some for me too - I miss it a lot!
