The staff was very solicitous and knowledgeable about their wines. It was a very cozy environment. I especially liked the fact that the counterperson encouraged tasting the wines before purchasing a glass. It is an excellent venue for tasting a lot of wine to develop your platate and to fine tune your preferences.
Review Source:We were visiting town from Albuquerque and hit a couple of the Bars, Leftbank was hands down the best! Â Issac and the staff were wonderful in suggesting different wines. Â The Pizza was great in fact we didn't have mini fridge in our room but still had to take a pizza with us and asked the Davenport to keep it in their fridge for us. Â The pizza is even better cold the next morning. Â
Live music was great, Kari Marguerite & the 76.
We will be back.
As part of our cross country trip we were visiting Spokane today. Â After a walk around the park we stopped into this lovely little wine bar for a snack. Â It had a warm welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to just sit and relax and talk at the end of a long day.
They have a large assortment of wine and upscale beers.  We had the bruschetta, fondue and salad which made for a  nice meal.
A lot of yelpers will take a three star review as a sign that I hate the place, or it was sub par. In fact, it was exactly par. The service was ok but not great, their selections were ok, but not great. I had a dirty spoon, which was bad, but they replaced immediately and without even a sneer, which was good. The whole experience was very middle of the road. I may have come back if I lived here, but since I have a limited time here, I probably won't.
Review Source:I love this place. We found it just by chance walking around Spokane, and were so glad that we decided to go in.
There was only one server on duty, but she was so attentive and made our stay perfect. We ordered appetizers and pizzas and she asked if we wanted the kids' pizza bought out asap rather than wait for the grown-up's. That made a big difference to our kids' enjoyment of the evening.
Not having spent much time in Washington state, I didn't know a lot about the local wineries, but was interested to try some. Our server was quite knowledgeable and talked through various bottles helping us to decided. She also let us try a little from a number of open bottles to help in our decision.
We had cheese pizzas for the kids, and Hawaiian for the adults. Both were delicious, and adequate for two to share. The mozzarella and tomato basil salad we had for starters was so fresh and easily worth the money.
The night we went they had a man singing and playing guitar. He was good, and had the volume set at a good level so that you could listen to him, but still talk and have a conversation with your table easily. This was a big point to me too.
I just wish I lived closer as I would definitely frequent this establishment much more often.
Went  on first friday of December, OMG the one man band was NICK what a treat that was, he is so great and so nice. We had such a delightful time, and enjoyed him so much. Thank you NICK we will be there this Thursday to hear you again, and even bringing some friends along to hear you.  The app we had was awesome and our waitress was very nice.
Review Source:This is one of my favorite places in Spokane. Â The food is really good for the price. Â The service is good. Â They know the wines. Â There's a decent selection of wines by the glass. Â My only complaint is that it can get awfully loud in there and impossible to hear the others at your table. Â
This place is really consistent, which is good.
Left Bank is doing a lot to make delicious wine affordable and accessible by the glass and by the bottle. Their food is also making huge strides in terms of variety and affordability.
One of my favorite things is their happy hour - $5 by the glass for much of their wine, great food prices. Plus, free wi-fi!
I love the margarita pizza, fresh tomatoes, mozzarella slices, and basil leaves, mmmm! Â It's enough for 2 people to split as a small meal, or enough for 1 person maybe with a little left-over for a dinner. Â Their baked brie is also wonderful. Â I enjoy red wines and they have a great selection. Â Their hours are quite limited, unfortunately, so this is more of a later dinner location than an evening bar. Â The service is decent.
Review Source:Great atmosphere and service. Â I really liked this place after the first visit, but I wanted to go a second time before posting a review in order to be accurate. Â I wish I could say the second trip lived up to the first, but I'm sorry, it didn't. Â
I had a chipped glass on my first visit that cut my lip (first time that's ever happened to me). Â Second trip, my glass was chipped also! Â Our plates were chipped too, and it just left us with the impression that Left Bank is a little sloppy. Â This is a newer place - how do they already have so much damaged stuff in circulation?
Also, we went for happy-hour pizza; Let me advise you: please don't. Â Some of the appetizers are good, but stay away from the pizza; it tastes like frozen stuff from the grocery store.
The service is awesome, and I hate to speak negative about a local business, but hopefully they will change for the better because of it.
I first visited the left bank during the groupon offering. They were very busy, as it was the second to last day of coupon. The service was average. They should of been more staffed based on groupon in my opinion. We had the red wine flight, which I would highly recommend. It's only $15 & you get good sized glasses. We also had the gorgonzola cheese bruchetta with honey. That was Devine!!! Holy smokes! It was so good, we recreated @ home!
The wine and appetizer brought us back a 2nd time (after groupon chaos) and it was much better! Needless to say, it's become a new favorite!
Liking this place more and more. Great service, don't know her name, but petitte black hair lady that just jumps to provide service (and very attractive) . Good list of wines, though I would like a few higher end offerings for reds. Not a place that comes to top of mind, or that most people see driving by, which is one more reason to come here. Haven't tried the food, but comments from others have been positive. Music fri-sat., a bit eclectic, but a nice background. I will continue to come here since Nikkos closed and pauline gone.
Review Source:This place flies under the radar, but they have in incredible amount of wine. Over 60 by the glass and about a dozen different flights. All of the flights are very reasonably priced at $14 each and the pours are very generous.
The atmosphere is wonderful! It is classy without being stuffy and the exposed bricks and modern artwork maintains an air of relevance without being trendy.
It's a great place to meet up with friends and spend the evening chatting and indulging in a variety of regional and international wines. I have yet to try the food, but the menu was very appealing and I look forward to indulging in the culinary delights the next time we visit.
