Well. We have visited the Lodge twice now. Two thumbs down again. The buffet looked decent but hold the presses. Fish....empty. Â Shrimp....empty. Â Walleye bites......literally rancid. Â My daughter tasted the fish and instantly spit it out. I had to move the plate to another table it stunk so bad. The table next to us was complaining about them as well. Â For $17 a plate you would think someone would keep track of the food levels. We were there for 40 minutes. No one checked the entire time. Another table went up and asked If the food was going to be replenished. Â They had no idea items were out. The fish was filled as we were leaving. Â It did look good.
They also serve pop overs. But only six at a time and you must have had to know someone to get one. Only two tables out of all the tables were served these. Â And you heard the servers asking where they were at but never came.
Our server. Horrible. My sons salad served right along with his steak. Checked on us once right at the end. Â Never offered a pop over which is part of the meal. Didn't clean the plates as they were done. Â Her tip reflected her service
Not good. Not good.
The sothern old fashion was the highlight.
