Party of two, ordered snapper. $18 each, two drinks. Total bill before tip was $68.
Service slow yet attentive and he tried hard.
I ordered a good margarita and it was bitter, needed more triple sec. Waiter brought more so that made it ok, but not the best margarita I would have expected.
Substituted fries for onion rings for $2 more. Ordered them crispy and they arrived almost cold.
Kitchen must have been running slow, in spite of not many diners there around 4:30 or so - while I was there. Dining room I was in had two other couples dining.
Old baked potatoes on both plates. Dried out snapper. This shouldn't be, folks. Don't underestimate who might be dining at your place. You had to know this wasn't good enough to send out.
On a relatively quiet Tuesday afternoon? Did I hit a bad day? I don't want to spend $70 to find out.
I doubt I will be back and would not comfortably recommend this place.
The food was great tasting. We had the Onion Crusted Salmon. Â The only complaint the four of has had was the portion size. Â We give our cat larger portions. Our waiter asked how everything was and we mentioned the portion size, his comment was, "Well, it is a luncheon portion, if you want larger portions you have to come for dinner and pay twice the price. Â This is not an acceptable response in a service industry. On the plus side, the hostess and the views of the water were pleasant.

Alas, a dining spot right next to the water with a pretty view. Â Surprisingly so, it's hard to find one of these around on Boca Grande that is not too pricey and allows dogs. We drove just a little bit leaving Boca Grande, and came to Leverocks. It's surrounded by boats bc they are on a marina. They also have a nice water and pool view there as well. Perfect for a nice breezy early dinner. Prices were in the 20-25's not too bad considering the prices else where. Â
This was probably our best meal on our small memorial day vacation, but it was just mediocre to me. We ordered steak with potatoes, and fish with almonds and a wine creamy sauce with potatoes. Â The steak had a lot of pieces of fat on it that had to be trimmed along with having lacked of seasonings. The potatoes were half cooked and still had the tough not finished cooking consistency. My fish was pretty good along with the sauce. The service was good. They showered us with their presence and happy to be there attitude especially because they loved our puppy. I would recommend stopping by, and checking it out. It is a nice tropical restaurant with a good selection, and good location.
After we has a very good meal at Leverock's a few months ago, we decided to I've it another try.  My how things change.  The last time we were there was before the busy season and this time they were much busier.  The salads and dinner came very quickly and I was thinking if they were doing this to turn over the table quicker.  After we got our food, the problems started.  My wife was complaining that her grouper was tough.  it turns out that it was barely cooked.  They took it back and apologized profusely but her replacement dinner didn't get to the table until the rest of our party was almost done.  She wasn't impressed with the replacement either.  The vegetables were almost raw and there was another piece of the grouper that wasn't cooked.  Since she didn't want to wait so she lived with it.  Another member of our party got steak with their seafood and instead of medium well, it was medium rare.  She too didn't complain since it wold have taken too long to get it fixed. The rest of our meals were just OK; nothing to brag about.  I won't be back  unless it is during the off season when things aren't so busy.
Review Source:Great first experience at this place. Â Decor inside sets the tone that you are in for a great seafood lunch/dinner. Â Took my parents there for lunch and we started off with Bloody Marys which were well balanced with tomato juice, spices and vodka. Â Nice!
We ordered three different lunches and shared them all. Â Coconut Shrimp, Wonton Shrimp and Clam Chowder. Â The best dish, hands down was the Coconut Shrimp. Â Tender, fried to perfection and served with a Thai dipping sauce. Â This was a lunch dish so it came with about 6 large shrimp total (I could be wrong here). Â The Wonton Shrimp was also nice, but lost much of it's appeal as it cooled down. Â This dish appeared to be on the greasy side. Â My suggestion is to eat them while they are HOT!
Clam Chowder was creamy, the way I like it. Â Can't go wrong here, but not a game changer either.
I will come here again next time I'm visit my Snow-bird parents. Â Good stuff!
The clam chowda is outta sight!
I've been to Leverock's twice. Once over a year ago for a full meal and again last week specifically for the clam chowder to go. We grabbed it to go and were met with quite a few very friendly staff who all did their best to be helpful, despite a slight miscommuncation - for the record, they sell soup to go by the bowl and not by the pint (you can take that one to the bank!). It was scrumdiddlyumptious! It's full of clam chunks, potato, and other creamy goodness/herbs/spices. However, I did knock 'em down a peg to 4 stars due to the hefty price of the chowder ($6ish per bowl) and for the fact that the carpet around the bar was sticky... gross!
MY wife love's their slogan, something like - Â "any fresher fish would still be swimming"
It can be a little pricey, but the early bird specials (which end at 5:30, which is a little different) are  pretty good.  They have a Grouper Jason that is very good and the clam chowder is the best in the world!  OK, so it's the best I have had.... but it is DARN good!
