My first visit here was not intentional.  I had to wait for a table at Continental Flambe and they had me hang out here (see my review on Continental Flambe for more details).

For those who have been to my house parties, martinis are my specialty.  I had to try a dry martini first.  It was to my liking and I loved the olives they use.  The bar tender was very friendly and had no problems explaining what he was mixing.

I'm not a fruity martini guy, but everyone there seemed to like the Kama Sutra, so I had to try one myself.  This is what I would call a dangerous drink.  It tastes so good that you'll have a few before it hits you!

It's part of Continental Flambe (this is where their drinks come), so their food comes Continental Flambe's kitchen.  I haven't tried the food here yet, but looking at the menu, don't expect the same food as Continental Flambe.

If you're looking for a place to hang out socially with some friends in a low key atmosphere, I'd recommend this place.

Great food HORRIBLE owner. Watched her turn away a large party from there for a bridal shower from the bathrooms. CRAZY.

This place was fun.  They have a self serve wine sampler, and very new York style bar.  There islive music, and they have great appetizers.  I would recommend this place for some fun on a date.

This place is great. Very different from the other places in Melbourne. tapas portions were right in line with "small plates". The wall of wine samples was our favorite parts but it could have used some white wine options. Good martini but it was a bit over priced. I'd go back all the time if I was a local.

I was really excited to try this place w/my good friend.

Pros: REAL Cappuccino! Not the sweet, fakey americano stuff, but a real cup. Blue-Cheese stuffed olives for the martini. Great calamari...not overly breaded & delicious.

Cons: Small martini...I ordered a Bombay Sapphire and it wasn't that good. At $10, I expected better. I know Tapas means small plates, but the prices were kinda high. The place wasn't that appealing. Looked like a warehouse in NYC.

Overall, I prolly won't come here again. It was worth a try, but I still like Tonic's martini's and ambiance much better.
