When did not get a chance to try the food. Â Upon arrival we received no acknowledgement that we even walked in. It was NOT busy. We waited 10 minutes and nothing. The server even bussed the table next to us and said nothing. I had no faith we would ever get food even if we could order. Â We left and no one said a word to us. Â Must be a locals only hangout.
Review Source:couple of pool tables, food was ok, I guess if your just looking for a local place to drink it's good. Â Its bar food, don't expect too much. Â The server brought us our wings, and we were sharing a calzone.....she did not bring plates, napkins or forks....and we had to wait to ask for them, to which she seemed irritated. Â We were there in the early afternoon, there was only about 15 people in there, so she wasn't busy.
Review Source:I give the food at Lighthouse 5 stars however the customer ambiance was very slow and I would give that more of a 1 star rating. That said,  for this review I want to take into consideration the weather. It was FREEZING outside, the rain was pouring down nonstop and there was a LOT of wind. The passes to the coast were snowed in and it was late at  night. When our original dining destination abruptly closed we moved our very informal wedding rehearsal dinner here at the last minute. If I were to chose again I would chose another location. This place was dark and just not happening enough for me. That said, everyone who works at this place is absolutely sweet. They were kind enough to open up an entire 1/2 of the restaurant just for us. The table setup could have been more tuned to a group of our size. That said, we did not really give any directions. In all, the chef came in just for us and he was AMAZING. The food was excellent. We had plenty of left overs which they packed up for us. I just felt overall that the place was a little too quiet, too dark and too big. That said, remember the weather. We did seem to be the only people out and out in the storm.  And, we did have a fun time!
Oh, there are two doors to the Lighthouse. One of the doors has a covered entryway which is good in case you need time to load (unload) someone from the car - in our case this was helpful for getting my elderly mother in and out of the car without getting too wet.
