The Lighthouse Restaurant & Motel

Sadly, this restaurant caught fire and was never rebuilt.  A gas station / convenience store was built on the lot.

Took three children with me for dinner instead of going to McDonald's. The food was quick to the table, the atmosphere pleasant, and the food very basic and good. A good alternative to fast food as the price was reasonable too. One drawback was the waitress who seemed overwhelmed even though the place was not crowded. She never did come back with our drink refills or extra napkins we needed. If you find yourself in Lowville at meal time, skip the fast food and try the Lighthouse.

Went with my family (group of 11).  Seemed to have overwhelmed the waitress.  The food was average, not bad, but nothing special.  Service we experienced was just not good.  The waitress actually knowingly brought out the wrong food and said "I hope its okay".  Just an overall weird experience.  Wouldn't go back.
