I would give this place zero stars if I could. The service is terrible and the food is mediocre. This is a small town so options are very limited there, this can be the only reason people keep going back.
The wait staff are terrible, they are unskilled as well as unkempt and aparently could care less about getting a tip.
SLOW SLOW SLOW. Waited 10 minutes to get a drink and then 10 more to order food, then another 30 minutes until a salad finally appeared! It was by then too late to bother trying to get anything else. There were only 2 other tables of people there.
Second attempt, different waitress same bad service. We were completrely ignored while she sociallized with the visiting boys soccer team.
After that we gave up on dining in and opted for take out instead, I was given the wrong order on more than 2 occasions. I was also given a Pizza of which all of the toppings, including ALL the cheese had slid off the pizza...I only knew this because I had checked it at the counter first to make sure they actually put the correct toppings on it before I got home with the wrong pizza AGAIN. This pizza had clearly been dropped while in the box and no one seemed to care. I refused to pay the 17.00 for a piece of soggy dough with pile of toppings laying in the corner of the box, left and will NEVER be going back. We gave this place way too many chances.
We now go to Mama's pizza just down the street, same mediocre pizza, but Far better customer service.
I write this review for all of my hustlers who travel the Heritage Route to and fro somewhere around DC to somewhere in PA. It is us who choose the path less traveled, with beautiful PA mountain scenery and many-a-silly religious sign about Christ. I'm really quite fond of stopping here for a personal pan. The pizza is solid for the price. I've seen some reviews mention courteous service; I'd have to disagree. Generally I get take out.. but the service I experience is curt and unappreciative.
