Liquid Joe's

On a Saturday night, I have yet to find better recurring entertainment in SLC than the Spazmatics at Liquid Joes!  I've seen them dozens of times, and still go almost every Saturday.  If you've never seen them, get there on a Saturday!  Their stage persona is hilarious, and their 80's Pop covers are even better.

Hooka is available, but I'm not sure the cost.  I've heard $12.

This place gets PACKED around 11:30, but the bartenders are FAST and very good at what they do.  I never wait more than a minute or two before I have their attention.  If it all gets a little overwhelming, the back patio is a great place to step out for some fresh air/socialization.

To date, I have never brought anyone to see the Spazmatics and they not love it.  If you've never seen them, you're surely missing out.

I have been coming here for years. And it is not really my thing most of the time. But for birthday's, coming on Saturday for the Spazmatics is always fun. They do covers of 80's pop music and do it well. The drink prices are not to bad. And they do offer Hookah for your table. I am sure I will be back for another B-Day for sure.

Most of the people are a little older.  After being immersed in the hormonal cesspool of Area 51 on Thursday night, coming here was a welcome change of pace.  If I were to guess, the average age of most people here would be late 30's or early 40's.  

Not many youngins here and a few cougars past their prime.  

Spazmatics get on stage at 1030pm and rock it out for about an hour or so.  They play DJ Top 40 music from the late 90's and early 2000's in between the Spazmatic sets.
