Lisa's Steakhouse and Grill

We decided to eat here based on the previous review. Unfortunately, the two menu items the reviewer listed were actually specials and not on the everyday menu. We went to the restaurant on a Monday at lunch. I had the ribeye ($17.99) and my wife had the chicken dressing from the special board. The meals included soup and salad. The soup we chose was the chicken tortilla and it was quite tasty. The salad bar was not so good as the lettuce was brown around the edges and wilted. The ribeye was actually quite good, but the sweet potato that came with it was the smallest sweet potato I've ever seen (about the size of a small orange). My wife's chicken dressing was cold so we had to return it. That's when we found out it was from the previous day's buffet (had we known, we would not have ordered it). The real saving grace was the really pleasant server, Michelle. She did a great job for us and even gave us a piece of German chocolate cake for our trouble (which was fabulous, by the way). All in all, I will give this place another try but I'll wait until dinner time on a Friday or Saturday.
