Live is one of few locations in Greenville to see a decent band. Â My most recent escapade here was for the Spazz Fest: Screw Cancer benefit to see Future Islands.
The venue itself is pretty low-key. Â It's one of the few places you can smoke insides and has an interesting mix of locals. Â And apparently they have some nice pool tables, though I wouldn't know the difference. Â
Being that Live is a private establishment if there are no bands playing you need to come with a "member" or pay to become a memeber [a few bucks]. Â
If you are a fan of PBR ask for a bottleneck. Â The bartenders are infamous for pouring keg beer into a pitcher then finally making it warmly into your plastic cup.
my buddy and i wanted a good place to go play pool. Â we happen to walk into this place and it was really interesting. Â the few times i've been here the band is never the same. Â from an old school rock band to a metal band. Â but the tables were nice and there was a lot of people that showed up once the night went on. great place
