    Excellent Service!!!

    Strong Drinks.

Intimate or Social places to gather throughout the bar area.

    Food can be ordered too.

    What a country.

Best seat to people way and a spectacular view out over the resort! All are welcome too! Bathing suit, slacks, suit, gym clothes, etc

After some sun and fun in the pool we decided to grab some sushi before heading back to our room. Grabbed a super comfy seat in the Lobby Bar where we were instantly greeted & provided with water. The friendly waitress provided menus and our fresh made sushi was sitting in front of us just moments later. She allowed us to kick back and relax, enjoy our food and drinks and when we were finally ready to be done, she promptly brought our bill and got us on our way.

We only wish the lobby bar with all it's wonderful food options was open earlier.

During our stay at the JW Marriott resort this was the best place we had our meal, service and ambiance.

It was a focal point of the resort that overlooks the starting point of the gondola, reception and view of the gold course through the large windows.

It was of course a lounge style with conversation tables and seatings and a Japanese mini sushi bar that serves delicious sushi! For the price of it it's decent. Try the hummingbird for decent sizes pieces for $16 is a bit pricey but it's tasty for what you can get on the resort if you don't want to step off the resort.

After finding our seats within 5 minutes the bar/waitress immediately came greeted us and asked if we wanted any drinks. You were able to order sushi and other American style items on the menu as well. She was super nice, attentive and tried to accommodate our questions and needs during the time. Definitely a great place to hang out as mentions and go for the sushi too.

Roomy (day before Super Bowl). Like all of hotel, could use a decor refreshing. I feel like the whole place is a time warp back. Sushi was pretty darn good- focus on specialty rolls.

Never was technically at the bar but came to eat sushi for dinner.

The general area can get pretty busy for dinner, only 6 seats or so for the actually sushi bar.  We ate at the tabled, the waiter we had was very attentive and nice.

The pricing for sushi wasn't too bad considering it was at the JW. However, the salad my friends bought was way overpriced.

The sushi was pretty decent as well. I also had the green mussels which I enjoyed and the scallops were pretty tasty as well.

So you don't have to leave the hotel, I would suggest going here to eat to get you sushi on!

Good service, but this looby bar needs some music. Way too quiet.

I was staying at this hotel so after checking in my friend and I decided to start out weekend out with a quick drink before dinner.  The ambiance of this open air style bar was quite good.  It was pretty busy yet we were still acknowledged right away along with our order being taken.  We were in a bit of a rush and the bartender did not know that but it was a tad bit annoying that even though our order was taken before a small group of girls the bartender still made their shots first then ours.  We had the Don Julio tequila flight which consisted of small short of Silver, Anejo, Reposado, and 1942.  It was served on a special Don Julio shot holder which was kinda cool actually.  Drinks are a bit pricey but its a hotel bar so that should be expected.

Very good sushi bar. Fresh fish and priced less expensive than you would expect inside a 5 star hotel. The rolls selection is somewhat small but I think the chefs can make pretty much anything you ask them.

Special props to chef Richard for making my girl a delicious shrimp soup. She was alittle under the weather so she asked if there was soup on the menu and there was not. But five minutes later, Rich had a shrimp soup creation ready just for her, which hit the spot perfect. That was pretty cool.

And the ambience there has this zen feeling to it, with all the water and the birds chirping :)) At least early in the evening before alcohol takes a very strong hold of people ))))

Very surprised with the quality of sushi and sashimi from the sushi bar located at the lobby bar. I was at JW Marriott Desert Springs for 4 nights and had dinner twice there.

I'd highly recommend going to the Lobby Bar at the JW Marriott Desert Springs versus the Costas nightclub!

The lobby bar was beautiful, the music was good lounge stuff, and the views and sights of gondolas coming in and out made the experience here unique and enjoyable.

Not bad for a lobby bar. They make a stiff drink and have a generous pour. The service was excellent. Best I had at the hotel. I had the spinach and artichoke dip. It was good, but mostly cheese. Rebecca was a great waitress if you can get her.
