I'm a big fan of interesting decor, eye-catching spaces and physical comfort, and this area does a decent job in these areas.

I was so impressed when I first saw this space several years ago. I was new to Vegas at the time, having just arrived from Cleveland, so I was pretty impressed by a lot of things.  Several years later I'm still impressed. Its not as amazing as it used to be since they changed the furnishings and the seat groupings, but it's still visually arresting to me. I like this area greatly for relaxing with a (pricey) drink and gazing around.   I like bringing newbies here to see their eyes get big.  A group of us came here to do a little work one day and were disappointed that we couldn't access the wifi. You can't use the wifi here unless you have a room and have paid for a password. That's unfortunate, since it's kinda cool to plug in a laptop and do a little work in this space.

Most of the seating is comfortable and it's fun to try the different seating areas (OK, I'm 12 years old sometimes). I always have a hard time with bar chairs but was able to perch at the bar without sliding off or having my legs fall asleep.

    I'll keep coming back!

I really like this bar, mainly because much like the Onyx, it's off the beaten path and not really visited by the main crowds.  It's a cool and scenic setting, it has a grand appearance with the staircase, curtains, and huge chandelier.

The drinks here are actually cheaper and bigger than what you get at the Lucky Bar in the center of the casino.  The bartenders are always very nice, pour stiff drinks, and will chat with you since it's a calmer and more intimate setting than your average bar.

I almost hate letting the cat out of the bag since I love coming down here to chill out with a drink.  But it really is a must visit if you're in Red Rock and want to take a break from the crowds and noises and relax with a drink or two.

I am not a big bar person, but I'm even less of a casino person. On my first anniversary, though, we somehow ended up at Red Rock Casino to get a drink.

We wandered past the fine-but-not-our-style nightclubs, danceclubs, and bars, until we happened upon a somewhat hidden (and unofficial) lounge in the lobby of the casino's hotel. We have returned many times since, just to enjoy being served cocktails in the beautiful setting.

This lounge is below the grand staircase and shielded from the upper floor by a giant curtain; the huge chandelier probably helps, too. Because of its location (adjacent to the check-in desks), it's quiet and perfect for people-watching. The lighting is soft and ideal for important, sentimental, or otherwise significant conversations.

Depending who's working and how busy it is, you may have a cocktail waitress take orders and check on you or you may have to order at the bar. Either way, the service is friendly (the servers, female and male alike, always are attractive, by the way...) and well-timed.

Drinks are strong, and they'll make whatever you like. The price is fair (slightly less than $10 per drink for premium liquors), and every time we've gone, we've been comped at least one round. (Remember to tip well to encourage the continuance of this generosity.)
