Ever have a day where you just want to settle in for a few minutes with a decent beer and a decent plate of nacho chips (for me it's cheese and jalapeños)?  And I'm not talking about gourmet nor authentic.  Just something edible and not garbage.
If so, this stink hole is NOT the destination. Â Lousy Sam Lager draft ... Must be danked up tap lines. Â And burnt chips to boot. Â Not just toasty warm ... Black burnt eat the log of your campfire
I gotta be careful people don't start thinking I only eat at awesome places. Â Truth is, I usually only tend to review places I really enjoy. Â The locker room pub has a fantastic atmosphere and horseshoe bar. Â Old spots newspaper clippings lie under the plastic covered wood bar. Â Matting, sherry and wine glasses are kept overhead. Â There are three strategically placed flat screen tv's that make no stool a bas away for watching the game like tonight: oswalt pitching a day after halliday pitched the second no hitter in post season history. Â Bar is not overly loud. Â Tonight the smell of beef .and onions fills the air as the special is sirloin w onions mushrooms starch and vegetable is served to about three of my stool buddies. Â I see large burgers and fries and chicken parmesan being scared down as well. Â There is even a British bloke laughing it up among the blue collar guys here. Â The pluck strawberry blond bar tender has a high loud voice perfectly suited for her job. Â The food truly is great pub fare. Â I've had the burger and a t-bone special that I still remember today. Â Had it with a side of shrimp. Â Great surf and turf. Â I'm having a beer now. Â They have about twelve on tap. Â Always a good selection. Â The place also has ample seating. Â Two Era that roughly correspond to the two halves of the bar. Â Anyway. Â I hope I've convinced you. Â I love this place and have only been here three times.
