I gave them a 3 because if you can catch Eli in the bar, it's fun. You're beer stays full and he remembers your order. Also $3 jäger bombs on Sunday. But don't sit on the dining side. It's shabby and extremely outdated. The booths have a Victorian print on them... Service on the dining side is dismal. It took about 10 minutes to get drinks from the time we sat down. I would of ordered an appetizer if she had of asked but she didn't ask anything. I had to hunt her down to take my order. There were THREE other tables in the place. It took forever to get our food. Just sit in the bar if you can. I had my little girl with me and didn't want to.

The onion rings still had cakey batter under the crispy outer layer.

Sit. In. Bar. Ask. For. Eli.

My wife and I ate here last night as guests of friends.  I have eaten at Loco's before many years ago, and I didn't like it much then, either.  Let's just say that things haven't improved since I ate here over a decade ago.  

The place was relatively empty, which should have been a sign that something was wrong.  The decor was a bit sparse and dated, but that's OK.  The bar is separate from the dining area, and might as well be a completely separate business because they occupy two different parts of the building, but that's OK, too.

When we arrived, no staff could be found to take us to our table, so we wandered in and found our friends  who were already seated.  Although it there were only two other occupied tables in the entire restaurant, it took our server forever to bring us menus.  Our menus were absolutely disgusting, and I don't mean just a little sticky.  We needed to turn the pages with napkins.  My menu was literally dripping some sort of sticky sauce from the inside.

After an inappropriately long period of time had passed, we had to flag down someone to go get our server to take our drink orders.  We got the drinks, and then she disappeared again.  We had to track her down again to take our food orders.  

We received our food relatively quickly.  I ordered a hamburger and fries - nothing spectacular.  It was a generic, run of the mill frozen hamburger patty, which in and of itself is OK, just nothing special.  The burger was OK, but the fries were horrid, so I didn't eat most of them.  

We paid, we left, we went home.  That's when the fun began...

Let's just say that my wife and I have been experiencing "gastrointestinal distress" since we ate our meals.  I guess we shouldn't be surprised, given the level of service and grungy menus.  We won't be eating there again.

So, if you'd like sub-par food and service, coupled with a touch of food poisoning, this is your place.  I'm rating it a two because it could've been worse - it could've been one of those places where they scream "Happy Birthday" every 30 seconds...

Service was great!
They handled a baseball team real quick and thorough.

Cons: food prices are expensive for a "country" eatery; food quality was below average.
