Nice to have a place that you can watch a soccer match. The food is more than acceptable. Although, I will say the popular cheese sauce in the irish boxty has gone down hill. it was so good when they first opened--one of the best cheese sauces I'd ever tasted--but they changed the recipe and it doesn't taste much better than adding some seasoning to velveeta now.
overall though, the menu is a delight. good, hearty irish food.
You really can't go wrong with the Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie or Guinness Chicken. The Bangers n Mash are okay... but the sausage isn't anything special.
And whether you get it as a side or as a main course, the Logan's Mac n Cheese is a delight.
This was a great find. Â The restaurant is in downtown Findlay. Â I walked in and loved the decor...football (soccer) jerseys hanging in the rafters...stained wood everywhere...it felt like a real Irish pub.
We ordered a bowl of seafood chowder and fish and chips and split them. Â The seafood chowder... Oh my gosh...I will go back for just that... Rich, creamy, flavorful...so delish! Â It was topped with scallops and shrimp...so so good!
The fish was fresh and moist with a crispy battered coating. Â You could tell it was hand battered there and not some frozen crap! Â The chips were just so-so but everything else made up for them.
The service was spot on... Our server was fun, friendly and attentive. Â And they had a decent selection of draft beers...I had a Great Lakes Dortmunder.
I definitely recommend trying this place.
