    Nice to have a place that you can watch a soccer match. The food is more than acceptable. Although, I will say the popular cheese sauce in the irish boxty has gone down hill. it was so good when they first opened--one of the best cheese sauces I'd ever tasted--but they changed the recipe and it doesn't taste much better than adding some seasoning to velveeta now.

    overall though, the menu is a delight. good, hearty irish food.

    You really can't go wrong with the Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie or Guinness Chicken. The Bangers n Mash are okay... but the sausage isn't anything special.

    And whether you get it as a side or as a main course, the Logan's Mac n Cheese is a delight.

    Great atmosphere, a very good service. If you're looking for a good night this is the place. Bangers and mash were tender and flavorful. Irish boxty was dead on. And the magners and Guinness flow like a stream.

    This was a great find.  The restaurant is in downtown Findlay.  I walked in and loved the decor...football (soccer) jerseys hanging in the rafters...stained wood everywhere...it felt like a real Irish pub.

    We ordered a bowl of seafood chowder and fish and chips and split them.  The seafood chowder... Oh my gosh...I will go back for just that... Rich, creamy, flavorful...so delish!  It was topped with scallops and shrimp...so so good!

    The fish was fresh and moist with a crispy battered coating.  You could tell it was hand battered there and not some frozen crap!  The chips were just so-so but everything else made up for them.

    The service was spot on... Our server was fun, friendly and attentive.  And they had a decent selection of draft beers...I had a Great Lakes Dortmunder.

    I definitely recommend trying this place.

    Found this place on Yelp and gave it a try for lunch. Great place.  Very good food and service. I will make this a regular stop when in Findlay.

    my wife and i have been to Logan's to many times to count, we've even rented out the second floor for a birthday party, and we love this place.

    so far every time we've been there the food is spot on great. one thing we've noticed at most restaurants, is they never have a good kids menu. however Logan's is different. they have a good menu and if you want to do something different for the kids they have always made it happen happily. the kids also don't have to be told 100 times to eat there food when we are there they eat on there own because it's just good.

    between my wife and i, we have had everything on the menu and it's always been great. i've had the ruben many times and will have it many many more.

    i also love a place that has real beer on tap and real whiskey on the shelf.

    while reading other review i've seen comments about bad or lacking service. all i can speak to is every time we've been there we have had very good service. and even when they've been busy with a bit o patience (well within reason) we are seated with our food soon to follow, weekend or week day. the servers have always been great. very nice, friendly and helpful.

    bottom line for us is, for really good food cooked fresh in a great atmosphere with good service. give it a try.

    Thoroughly disappointed... I gave them 1 Star only because yelp won't allow 0 Stars.

    Visited today and was greeted by the manager & seated immediately. (the good) Unfortunately, that's the last I & my friends interacted with any of the staff - though they appeared much more interested in primping & chatting amongst themselves rather than taking care of their patrons.

    After 27min of waiting, I decided to get up & find the manager myself. He offered a handshake with an apology & comp. our meal. I declined. We left & ended up @ one of the local "chain" establishments.

    In today's economy one would think establishments (especially independent ones) would appreciate their patrons. Too bad Logan's Irish Pub in Findlay, OH fails to deliver. btw - this isn't my 1st poor experience @ this place.

    On last visit, food was descent however service was slow & indifferent. Logan's atmosphere is loud & energetic - naturally, it's a bar. I expect that. Where this place really falls short is service. One could easily encounter better customer service from a texting 16 year-old behind the counter @ MickeyD's.

    I intentionally seek out & attempt to support locally-owned establishments when I travel. But whenever I find myself back in Findlay Oh, I certainly won't be visiting Logan's Irish Pub. Have written them off and will NEVER step foot in that place again.

    Great atmosphere, great food.  Simple as that.  I always get the Reuben with waffle fries and it's delicious.  Try it.

    Incredible. Went in on Sunday 4/15/2012. Brooke was our waitress, and was super nice without having to check on us every couple seconds, and recommended the white peach sangria, which was delicious, and not too weak or too strong.

    I ate the bangers and mash, and my girlfriend ordered the potato pancakes with cheese sauce. both were delicious, and came out quickly.

    We finished off the night with an order of their bread pudding which was served right out of the oven and was excellent.

    Atmosphere 10/10
    Food 10/10
    Service 10/10
    Overall 10/10

    Will definitely eat here again.

    I want to be a regular here, just not on the weekends. For lunch, the service was fast and friendly. It was just the bartender, a setup that usually results in too little attention being paid to tables, but he was on top of everything. Weekends are a different story, with servers looking a little bit overwhelmed. But the food, beer, and liquor selection is going to have me going back quite a bit.

    We've been here twice in the short time since moving to Findlay, and I've been impressed overall.   Both the drinks and the food were excellent, and while the service is, as others have mentioned, a little slow when they're busy, everyone we've interacted with has been very friendly.  The atmosphere is classic Irish pub, and reminds me a little of the Brocach, a bar that I loved (and miss!) back in Madison, WI.
    Most recently, we went to hear the Celtic music on Saturday night, with the added bonus of watching the Lions play.  My bf was impressed by the great selection of whiskeys, and I was happy to discover that the salads on the menu are just as good as the more traditional Irish grub.  I can't really speak to whether this feels like a typical Findlay establishment yet, but I do know that it wouldn't be out of place in bigger college towns I've lived in like Madison or Ann Arbor and I look forward to going back.

    I like good cultural cuisine as much as anyone, At first blush Logan's seems to have that. Situated in downtown Findlay, it's located in an OLD retail building and the atmosphere drips off the walls. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of my visit. Maybe it was a bad night -who knows, but it wasn't crowed, but I had to wait to be seated. I did enjoy a Smithwicks draft, but didn't enjoy the shepard's pie. Maybe it was me. They did have other irish sounding dishes, but I'm not to excited to go back just yet.

    Upon entering Logan's Irish Pub, I was impressed by the authentic atmosphere.  The Irish/Celtic writing on the front sign and the menus gave me a bit of feeling that I was in Boston or even perhaps Dublin, Ireland...not Ohio. Visiting from Los Angeles, I was expecting traditional Irish fare, which I can't always find on the West Coast. After all, I am back home in Ohio, where almost all of us have a bit of Irish ancestry.....and are proud of it.

    I knew that I wanted a Black and Tan to drink and was considering Fish and Chips to eat.  However, one of my dinner guests advised me that I should opt for something different as the fish and chips were not too good in his opinion.  I then looked for something else that someone would find in an Irish pub....salmon, meat pies,  potato soup?  I didn't see any of these items, but I did notice sandwiches, salads, and ever remembered seeing a Chimichanga on the specials board out front.  My expectations of authentic Irish food were quickly diminishing. I did have a Reuben slider, and the corned beef was tender and delicious, but it just seemed more deli than pub to me. I finally decided on a bowl of Irish stew.  The lamb melted in my mouth and the vegetables were not overcooked. However, the gravy was a little thin; tasty, but thin. I had read that the stew came with Irish soda bread and I was looking forward to sopping up the gravy with it. The bread that came with it was not a hunk of scone-like bread, but rather a small piece of dense sweet bread that may have passed for biscotti had it been baked longer.

    As far as service went, it really didn't go.  Our server didn't make us feel very welcomed and told my niece that she could go to the bar look at the bottles on the shelf when she inquired about the variety of beers. He did check back to see how everything was, but he didn't have the friendly pub personality that I've experienced in other pubs.

    I would return to Logan's for a few pints of Black and Tan...at a good price, but I'll pass on the food.  They could do much better.

    This establishment is definitely a better place for drinking rather than actually trying to have a meal.  The service was so insanely slow and lacking. It took 2 hours to get a burger, some waffle fries, and a diet Coke(Of which was left empty for over 30 minutes TWICE before the waitress came around.). I don't know if we were just unlucky and got stuck with the dullard new waitress, but it was painful.

    The food was just ok.  All in all if you are wanting to drink and have some food on the side come here. I would definitely not suggest coming here if you are looking for a meal just by itself. On a more positive note the decor  inside was great.

    Selection=Good
    Pricing=Good
    Service=Poor

    **LOCAL BUSINESS**

    I've been to Logan's about four times now since it opened, and can easily say it's a breath of fresh air. The layout of the building may be small, but I'm willing to wait for a table. The decor is well done, and it creates such a unique experience not found elsewhere in Findlay. It's much more aesthetically pleasing than Rí Rá in Charlotte and Shades of Green in NYC. I find it on par with Conor O'Neils in Ann Arbor.

    My friend and I recently stopped by for dinner and a game. Three out of the four times I've been there, they've been slammed with customers. Friday night was standing room only with a full capacity upstairs. It seems the owners have hit a demand here in town. It just supports the idea that people are looking for something beyond chain restaurants and all-you-can-eat buffets.

    The drinks are relatively cheap, but the food was a little more on the expensive side (very good... but pricey). My Sam Adam's Winter Ale was $4.25 a glass, but the bangers and mash came to $10.95. That's a little pricey for mashed potatoes and sausage. Being a businessman, I know why they did it but that limits my dining here. On a more of a culinary critique, the food is more fussy than I remember it at other Irish Pubs. The shepherds pie has pub mash lattice work, the crème brûlée comes with an artistically sliced strawberry and strategically placed dollop of red sauce, and the bangers and mash are made into a pattern on the plate. Now, I am one for presentation but only where it's expected (i.e. fine dining establishments). Not to invoke the name of Gordon Ramsay deliberately, but he went on a tirade (go figure, huh?) to a pub owner about pub food being uncomplicated and unpretentious. He went on to say a great pub food should be "a step above cooking a meal at home." In other words, leave the fuss about presentation to Revolver and just serve the food.

    As I've taken it in over the past two weeks, it'll more likely become a place to drink and watch the football game (American or regular). However, on occasion I will indulge in some of the entrees on the menu.

    P.S. - Try the soda bread when you're there. It's delicious.
