Long John Silver's Seafood Shoppe

This location of Long John Silver's was remodeled this past year. Prior to that time I can only say I had been a customer once during a whole decade period of time. Now that the restaurant has a drive through I've been here several times in the last several months. I guess I'm a drive through junky.

As for the food, prices are low but quality is fair to good. Both visits I ordered the same item, the Classic Fish Sandwich. The roll that the sandwich is made on is a hoagie roll shape and the bread itself is light but solid with a dusting of cornmeal. The fish was a nice thick cut of white flaky fish with a crisp batter coating. Top that off with chopped lettuce and tartar and I'm satisfied.

The price of my lunch $1.59

I hate to admit it but I'll be back each time I want to fall off my diet. Sorry, Mickie D's I won't be ordering anymore Fillet of Fish.
