"Service may be slow at times", and fast as hell others, I don't have a problem with this; it ain't Mickey D's!. Â Depends on crowd. Â I have eaten here many times over the last few years. Â Love it. Â The staff will cater to your wants; you have to tell 'em. Â They have several locations in the area, but this is my main haunt. Â Going back again, always!
Review Source:Very righteous coastal Tex-Mex, with all the usual suspects plus several dishes with fish or shrimp. Â Chips were warm and crisp, salsa was fresh and spicy. I had the Shrimp Enchilada plate, a gooey, creamy heart-attack on a platter, but soooo-so tasty after a morning of surf & sun. Hubby had the Poblano Chicken, and there was nothing left on the dish when he was done.
Judging from the crowd on a summer Saturday afternoon, this is a restaurant appreciated by locals and tourists alike. That's usually a good sign, right? Â My only complaints were a way-too-sweet margarita and very slow (but well-intentioned) service by our teen-aged waitress. Â No problem, though. I'm sure I'll be back, prepared for a leisurely meal with beer or wine instead of cocktails.
