Lost River Brewing Company

If it weren't so pricey I'd give it 5 stars.  The food didn't really warrant the price and the price scale is also out of place in that town.  I did love the beer and I did love the atmosphere.  I will be going back, just not as often as I'd like, I'm not rich.

This place surprised us. It could have been a brewery in DC. The service was friendly and the standard fare was competently executed. We had the fish and chips, ribs, and calamari. My favorite was the hush puppies. The dark ale was chocolatey and the pale was flowery.

I think someone else touched on this; beer prices are crazy.  It looked like a neat place but I just stopped in for beer.  A growler of beer for $27 and a re-fill for $18.  Really?  I usually fill up a growler for 1/2 that price in Fairfax and DC or any other brewery for that matter.  I will not be back for prices like that.  Sorry.
