Lovell Street Grill and Ale House

This place is now closed, and it's no wonder why.
Mediocre food that was overpriced.
I really wanted this place to do well but they didn't seem to care.
I tried it a few times after my initial trip and nothing ever changed.

I have made a couple attempts to go to this place, but I haven't always been successful.
The first time my wife and I wanted to check it out and lend our support to a new business. Unfortunately there was someone at the door looking for a cover charge. The second time we got in. The place was empty and it was on a saturday night. The third time we went there the place was closed at 9pm on saturday night . Outside was a sign that they would further be closed Sunday & Monday for the holidays.
I'm not too hopeful on the chances of this place being open much longer.
It is now closed.

For a local place, the restaurant has a nice look and feel. Food is good. My only issue was that I wanted a med-rare burger and had to send it back because it was well-done the first time. When I got it back it was fresh but more rare than it should have been. The burger was ok otherwise. My wife and daughter had better luck and loved their food. However, after speaking with our waitress, Kat, who was really awesome, she discounted my meal for the error. That was really nice of her and I am willing to definitly come back and try them again. Somers needed a good burger/ale house. I think we have a winner.
