Stopped by here when I was getting the brakes on my car fixed and I am pleased that I did! Located a little west of Monroe on 1st ave, it is a little tucked in and difficult to spot when driving by.

Once you get inside you are met with an elegant feel with warm lighting which struck me as inviting as my first impression. I stayed for a bit afterwards and noted the comfy chairs and the relaxed music.

Of course...the coffee. The barista made a special effort to ask about the specifics of my drink which I thought was uniquely considerate. I ordered an iced latte with a splash of eggnog and the coffee was strong but also smooth. Tasty!

The barista also told me that they serve beer, wine, champagne and have live music five nights a week. Versatile for a coffee joint that has only been open for a little over a year.

I would highly recommend Luxe to anyone enjoys coffee or who is looking for a pleasant atmosphere to spend time with people they care about. Hope you enjoy!

So-So Coffee and So-So service. The barista didn't really seem to take pride in his craft, or care how the coffee came out. I ordered an Americano and I gotta say, I can get a better tasting one at the big green coffee chain. Not what I expected from a independent coffee shop with a cool atmosphere.

What a find! We were visiting from Seattle and walking up 1st when we happened to come upon Luxe! What a great place with  outstanding Cab and a warm, welcoming proprietor Isaiah. Definitely a must stop if you're visiting Spokane!

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Luxe the other day. This unique little coffee house is tucked away next to Tangerine on 1st Avenue downtown. It's steps away from Catacombs, The Fox Theater, and the Knitting Factory.

Luxe serves coffee, wine, and beer. They also serve pastries, which I believe are from Petit Chat Bakery. They will soon offer mimosa and pastry specials... I am very excited to go back and try them out!

Now let's get to the important details... I've been looking for a coffee house that serves proper coffee. So far I've only been impressed by Java on Sherman in Coeur d'Alene, but that's just too far! I expressed my woes to Isaiah, who I believe is the manager... He promised great coffee, and great coffee is what he delivered! Seriously, this stuff is FANTASTIC! Beautiful, delicious, perfect! Needless to say, I've found my coffee house!

Others in the group I was with ordered from the wine, beer, and champagne selection. They were all very happy! Someone ordered a chocolate croissant, and it looked sooooo delicious.

The decor in Luxe is to die for... Very chic and elegant. This is an AMAZING spot for some time with the girls. Guys, if you want to impress us ladies, this would be a fantastic, intimate date spot! Plans for live music are in the works... In fact, I believe there will be an acoustic performance tonight!

Next time you are downtown you absolutely need to stop by Luxe. I am so glad that Isaiah and Tammi are bringing fantastic coffee and amazing service to Spokane. Luxe is exactly what Spokane needs!!! I can't wait to go back!
