Hookah quality is below mediocre. $17 for one hookah at a small establishment, plus cover charge? Definitely not coming back. Overall, in my opinion, Velvet Room is the best hookah lounge in Inland Empire

If you're looking for good hookah & a place to hangout with friends, this is the place to be. Ancient Egyptian theme, music, and TV's everywhere. Fresh Hookah when you order. Friendly and Fast Staff, Fresh Coals before you ask for it. I drive 45 miles just to go there.

This place is little egypt with all the statues!

I hadn't been here since it was called Summer. New owner, new management, new look. There isn't any more dancing, no food, (just snacks and non-alcoholic drinks). I usually don't go to places like this anymore, (I have kids now) but a couple of old girlfriends wanted to go out and we came here (for good-ol-memories sake). I'm in my mid 30's so it felt slightly out of place, most of the people here are 18-late 20's. BUT, i noticed a lot of older people there too. So i guess i wasn't out of place that much?

There isnt any dancing, tvs you can see wherever you sit, some with music, some with movies. Music playing non-stop (all genres). Service was pretty impeccable- from the moment we went in there was this young gentlemen greeting us and very attentive. Then we sat down, got our hookah pretty fast and coals kept coming and they kept refreshing our bowl. Flavor lasted so long! We were there for a good 3 hours and never needed a bowl change!

I can pretty much say that I will not be going again, anytime soon anyway. (im a mom!) The next time I go it will definitely be on a weeknight when all the young kids aren't there. Have a cup of coffee or tea, all delicious middle eastern coffee.

Overall, looks like the young ones love it. People kept coming and coming that night.
Price wasn't bad at all either, and I read a sign that said $4 before 6. So I guess that's happy hour!

Worth going to if you're in the area.

I can say that I have experience with hookah bars and hookah overall. I used to go to this place as it was "summer cafe"...I went last night and was greeted by the owner who claimed he had amazing hookah for the price. After I payed (about) 40 bucks for 2 hookahs and 2 waters he did not check up on us even one time. The hookah was shit. I felt sick afterwards. Even after I notified him that the hookah was SHIT and the pipe tasted like detergent or something...he blew it out as if he was doing us some kind of magical favor (usually these hookah bar guys think they are the only ones in the world that know how a hookah properly operates)...  Cool place, shitty service and  SHITTY hookah...

For the price, they have a good selection of hookahs. The atmosphere is really chill and the people who work there are cool too. Like other people have mentioned, it does take some time for them to provide new coals, but I personally don't mind it that much. It really is about preference and what is available to you. I would say that if you're tight on money, but you still want to have a good time with friends, then come here, otherwise, there's always other places.

Tonight I had a mission to find some good hookah.  The hookah I make at home never tastes as good, so I was willing to go out and spend some money so that I could be in hookah heaven.  Tonight I only found myself in hookah purgatory- It wasn't hell but it definitely wasn't heaven.

When we first walked in we were greeted and our order was immediately taken.  The service was very good, which seems to be rare for hookah lounges.  Our coals were changed promptly when needed.  They don't serve alcohol, which also tends to be a downside to some of the smaller hookah lounges.  They do sell bottled water and soda as well as candy.

We ordered the wild berry mint flavor and it had absolutely no flavor.  They definitely don't use a high end tobacco.  We got the buy one bowl get one free deal for $11.  It was a great price but unfortunately we had to get the same crappy flavor for the second bowl.  Both bowls were packed tight and I started to get a headache right from the start.

The lounge played good music and had big screens playing the NBA games.  The place is very spacious and had some cool glowing Egyptian decorations.

I wish this place had better hookah because it is right down the street from my house.  Yet unfortunately it looks like I will just continue to pack my own bowls at home.

After our 3rd, 4th, & 5th times heading back to Luxor, we noticed that their service wasn't up to par like it had been the first two times we visited. All 5 times we've been has been on a Sunday, with the exception of one day. And that's their least crowded day.

There's usually only 2 other groups of people in there during that time and they still, for some reason, take 15 minutes just to get you new coals. Our coals always get ashed over immediately and our hookah hardly produces any clouds...so if you want new coals, your best bet is to get up and ask for them...

We also found out that there BOGO bowl deal is only good Sun-Thurs. Or you have the option to get a free snack or beverage, if you don't want a bowl refill.
