  I was on my way home from a canoe/camping trip with my brother and his friend.  We had recently rejected an earlier restaurant for philosophical reasons, but we were hungry for some lunch.  We were glad we stopped at this place.
  
  First of all, it's a pretty unassuming place that is very casual inside.  One person was running the show up front and when the cooks had orders ready, you heard the bell.  My brother got some beef soup and they sure didn't skimp on the beef.  I had a bite and it was so good that I thought about ordering a bowl.  We both decided on the chicken and biscuits (based on our servers recommendation), while his friend ordered the hungry man breakfast.  The chicken and biscuits was a big portion of  real mashed potatoes and some biscuits smothered in a creamy chicken sauce with chicken and carrots.  I couldn't even finish it all.
  
  Their slogan was "enter a stranger and leave as a friend" and it was fitting and you can tell that they have made some friends.  Most of the customers were regulars that they knew by name (and by order).  I'm sure if I lived close by, I'd stop back in because they food was very good, the prices were low, and the service was great.
