  My family has gone here for years and years.  The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great for a small town.  I remember having Shirley Temple's after dinner here.  I really love this place, and try to go whenever I'm in town visiting my family.

  This is our "go-to" place when it's Winter and the restaurants at the lake are closed. Great selection of typical American cuisine, and great service. Never had a bad meal here. One caveat - it's not in the best area of Oneida. Lock those car doors!

  The Madison House restaurant is a local treasure in Oneida.  It offers an awesome selection of food that's as delicious as it should be.  The ambiance and look of the restaurant itself needs to be noted - it's as if you've gone back in time.  The lighting is subdued and the individual booths give it a casual atmosphere.
  
  The staff is friendly and quick to check on how their customers are doing.  I've been here many times and I've never been disappointed by the quality of their food.  In particular it's the perfect place to take your significant other on a date - good food, low lighting, and boothed seating.
  
  Prices are reasonable for a restaurant like this and the portions of food are sometimes enough to warrant a box to take it home in.
