This is a good place to go in a town where there isn't much to do. Make sure to check to see if a league has all of the lanes reserved before planning to go here. But with that said, I have given this place two stars because of the poor customer service experience we had. Only one person could run the main register to set up the lanes and he was also the only maintenance personnel. So if one of the lanes was jammed, you had to hunt to find him because he was rarely at the register. We went to order food, and again we waited and waited (bar side). I would think that this was just our experience, but a family that came in 30 minutes after us was complaining about finding the person so they could start bowling as well.
Review Source:Not much to do in Susanville. One of the things to do is to go to Main Street Bowl. The bowling is..well...bowling. They do have several other things to do as well. Arcade games, an Air Hockey table and a Pool table. We went to have some adult beverages and bowl a couple of games. The bartender was cool, as was the manager. If you are not into hanging out at a smoke filled casino, give Main Street Bowl a shot.
Review Source:This old, little bowling alley is the hub of action in Susanville with it's quaint bar, good drinks and friendly folks. Â Next time you're in Susanville, stop in for a beer, some bar snacks, good conversation and perhaps toss around a few balls.
TIP: Â It gets packed early and closes early, so go early.
