Great Staff and Owner. Â I go on Tuesday for the Comedy Open Mic and on the Week End to support Live Comedy. Â For South King County it beats driving an hr to Seattle or 45 min to Tacoma to see comedy and then dealing with that Urban scene of over priced beverages and food.
The room is quaint and full of energy. Â The Tuesday Open Mic brings in the best comics in the NW to work on new material and features a handful of up and comings! Â
Also Ladies I hear a lot of the comics are single, so bonus since according to COSMO Magazine, Humor is the #1 trait you look for in a man...
Well, my group likes to support startup businesses - especially close to home. I realize they are just getting started and I certainly wish them all the luck. One thing I would have to say is that they should market themselves more. The way I found out that there was something new is two young guys were jumping around, dancing and hollering at cars going by. This is great advertising... if you happen to drive through downtown. I hunted them down online and found their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com… Â
The comics this weekend were OK, but not laugh out loud funny. Â The headliner had his moments, but it was dragging a bit at the end.
BONUS: the $10 cover gets you one drink and a big ol' slice of pizza. Â I arrived full already, but the drink I took. Â :) Â After the show, they have karaoke. Â It was fun to watch a rendition of "I'm Sexy and I Know it" by the owner - the disco lights in the background were an added hilarious touch.
They have open mic every Tuesday, so if you are a newbie, lost a bet, a seasoned professional looking to brush up your skills, or just want to try it out - GET HERE!
I am looking forward to coming down again and giving a higher review. Â Huge kudos for a new startup business in Auburn!
