Average food and shady people

I know that the chef running the kitchen has changed twice since the last reviews were written here. The pizza is now awesome. The chef prepares it using corn meal instead of flour to keep it from sticking to the oven and it adds a really nice flavor to the thin crust pie. The wraps and burgers are as good a quality as you'll find at a diner or other small establishment in the area. Nothin' fancy, but good hot food.

The bartenders are very knowledgeable in mixing any drink I've ever ordered there. The drinks are a bit too large though-mixed drinks are served in pint glasses. I'd personally rather have a smaller, fresh drink, but at least when the bar gets busy, you're covered. The wait staff is also good. You'll get a good meal and drink as well as have some fun with either DJ Al or the live music booked in.

This is a mostly older mature crowd but the kids show up for a drink in the summer before heading to Point Beach-well at least they used to.

My wife and I go there about twice a month and always enjoy it.

This is a nice neighborhood bar, but I wouldn't go for the food.  Have met friends there several times and have yet to eat anything I would recommend.  On the othe hand they mix a mean martini!  Very friendly place.
