I caution you to stick to the burgers. There is a grill behind the bar and you can see the bar tender? Who is also a cook? hand forming each burger and cooking it in full view of the open bar.. On a good day burgers are big and juicy cooked to your  liking with a  pile of fries and a pickle. My family and I spend summers at the shore and there is a vast array of restaurants we could chose from,,, so was very disappointed to say the least when The "broiled, shrimp, scallop and flounder entree" I ordered, ( which was on the chalk board as a special) arrived smelling so rank that the couple at the next table even commented. Besides that, the scallops were half raw and there was a lot of sand. Did I say  the flounder  smelled SO  SO BAD? and looked like it had been sitting uncovered on the plate in that rolled position for a very long time and dried out before they got  around to broiling it.It was so foul it was not edible. After tasting the second scallop I could not take another bite and lost my appetite. How dare they serve  something so foul??,  When mentioned to the waitress she said it was the first she ever  heard of it and said she would tell the cook, but seemed unfazed. I could not take another bite and was sorry I even got the 2scallops down. We payed  our bill and upon rising from our seats the couple at the next table wished me luck in hoping I wouldn't  be sick. The chicken francaise my husband ordered  was extremely salty and the linguini it rested upon was so greasy my 5 year old daughter who loves pasta refused to eat it.
Review Source:Woman who sat us was cold/rude. Our server, however, was the complete opposite.
We sat next to a wall and I kept getting a nose full of musty odor; ew.
We both ordered the hot dog. It had a nicely grilled bun, hot dog cooked well and if you're a fan of Schickhaus then the dog is good. I'm not a big fan of that brand as I find it bland but that's not the restaurant's fault.
Onion rings were wayyyy over-fried.
$3 for a soda, even with a free refill is a ripoff.
Overall, a lackluster experience.
