I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the new restaurant. I've been to one before and I thought the food was great. This Margaritaville was no different. I had an excellent server who was very helpful and patient, and on a busy Friday night! The show they put on during our meal was incredible and all of the people participating were very professional. I was very surprised when the manager checked on my table, he was incredibly nice and didn't seem to intrude on the meal. His name was Brent, I believe, anyways, he was a lot of help and he went around the whole time I was there to make sure everything was being done right. So, overall, I can rate my experience at the new Maragaritaville in Bossier City a very good restaurant and everyone should definitely experience it for themselves.
Review Source:Okay I was stoked to try this place out, having been to Margaritaville in Jamaica when I was younger. I imagined tropical drinks and some kind of tasty meats.
Bleck. We came on a busy Friday night with quite possibly the worst cover band I've ever heard. They played everything from Adele to the Temptations and it was all bad and insanely loud. We had to yell over each other to hear anything.
We got our drinks and I tried the raspberry margarita. I will say that they have lived up to their namesake in terms of margaritas, they are tasty, cold and just what you want in a booze-y blender glass. Unfortunately, we never saw another refill of our waters and soda.
I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that arrived without bacon (strike one), bread that fell apart at the middle (strike two) and a bird that was so dry I Â was certain I was eating cardboard (strike three). Essentially, I was eating a jerk flavored piece of cardboard with some plain french fries.
My boyfriend got the fajitas. Both the steak and the chicken had the same flavor and were equally dry. He asked to skip the guac and sour cream as he doesn't care for those. And that request was ignored as all of your typical fajita toppings were mixed into one pile.
Our waitress was far too busy running after other guests to bring over a side dish of cheese and pico, which we patiently requested along with water.
The only thing that got her attention was putting the shiny credit card at the edge of our table.
There are some better options on the Boardwalk, eat dinner there and then go have your margarita.
Got burgers at the pool for lunch. Â Burgers were nothing special. Â They didn't have any kind of char or flavor to them. Â Tasted more like what you would get in a cafeteria. Â Neither I nor hubby finished them. Fries were better than the burger we thought. Â Based on this experience, we went somewhere on the boardwalk for dinner.
Review Source:I love the Margaritaville Casino and Resort, as there are only three (3!) MG Casinos in the WORLD! And there is only ONE (1!!!!) MG Resort in the WORLD, and it is right here in Bossier City, Louisiana! This review is for the Margaritaville Restaurant located inside the Margaritaville Resort Casino as is its' proper name. I had lunch there today with the wife and we both really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and our overall dining experience. I ordered the "Cheeseburger In Paradise", Â which is their standard cheeseburger and my wife ordered the Turkey burger. Both burgers were well cooked and seasoned. I must say, I also took a bite of my wife's turkey burger and it was really delicious! She got fries with her burger and for two bucks more, I switched out for onion rings which were nice and crispy and not too greasy. They also serve Coke products here, so that's a big plus in casino land these days. We were seated next to the "Boat Drinks Bar" and had a nice vantage point looking out onto the casino floor. The Margaritaville Gift Shop and the Buffet are set on either side of this restaurant. This place is decorated very well with a large ten foot blender constantly swirling some green decorative concoction, presumably a Margarita? Could it be? Also there is a neat, almost to scale, model of a float-island plane hanging from above, presumably jumping from island to island. Just as Mr. Buffett would have it. Which, by the way, the MAN himself is playing a sold out concert on this property tomorrow, July 3rd! Who would've ever thunk it? Jimmy Buffett! A business owner in Bossier City! Wow! Makes me want to drink a Margarita out of that ten foot blender!
