Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium

This place is legendary, to say the very least!!! This is where Elvis Presley got his start! Hank Williams Sr and Kitty Wells used to play here often during the old Louisiana Hayride radio show days! I have seen many shows and events here in the past, including a temporary revitalization of that old Hayride show, I saw Everclear here once, I've seen boxing matches, and most recently, I saw comedian Jerry Seinfeld! This is just a great venue in which to see an artist, any artist of any genre, or any live sporting event. I LOVE the Municipal, and I highly recommend supporting it, or even taking a tour of it, which they also offer. This is a wonderful, historic place and we should all cherish it.
