The outside of this venue is unbelievably sketchy. A friend of mine referred to this place as "Rock Bottom (in San Antonio) but without booze", and that's quite accurate - it's a tiny venue with poor air circulation in a neighborhood full of abandoned warehouses. Their side parking lot contained a broken down school bus which appeared to be someone's home - there was a hammock and a suitcase inside.
The inside of the venue looks like an old sunday school building, complete with thin, heavily-stained carpeting throughout the entire place. They have no box office, only a battered suitcase on a broken shelving unit which starts selling tickets right when the doors open.
There was no stage, only a line of green tape across the floor separating the band area from the audience area. The sound was decent, but the sound technician seemed a bit incompetent - several songs into their set the second band of the night was still requesting adjustments to their monitors.
This venue is all-ages and doesn't allow alcohol inside, but they had no security, did not check purses, and didn't stop my friends and I from walking in and out of the building several times with fast food cups in our hands.
