I've been to better sports bars, but in the middle of nowhere in this little town of Georgia I think it's the best u can get! Â It's pretty decent being I'm from the big city of MIA and all. The Bob Marley drink is good and the DJ can be a little better. I like how the dudes with "sass" really breaks it down and show you how a dance goes lol. The fried catfish was pretty good.
I wish the servers had a little more knowledge on serving, but what can I expect from this small place? Just being "sweet" does not fly by on me. And the "lonely" guys are just horribly desperate in this place! Lol. I hate the fact they stop serving drinks at 1am I believe due to county laws. Â All in all I will come back if I'm looking for ppl to laugh at, a good Bob Marley, ok music and I have really nothing else to do.
This passed Friday I came here for a few drinks and to socialize.... I'm 27 and I love the place I get so tired of young rowdy crowds and constant rap music...... the live band was getting down the drink specials were on point I didn't get a chance to eat but the food the awesome! and the servers are nice I like the dj he play old skool jams, mixed with some 80's & 90's plus up to date......... will I return OF COUSRE!!! Plus living in conyers its nice to have a closer place to lounge my only advice is if you want a seat/parking spot arrive early or else you will get caught up with the later crowd 10pm and later its a nice sized spot to be a bar/grill mini dance floor perfect for just wanting to get out and have a good chill time and shout out to the guy bartender that be singing his butt off and cracking all the jokes!!! Lolz he's a perfect host!!!!
Review Source:I actually like this spot. Â The first time I came here I thought I was at a geriatric club. Â The music was late 70's early 80's and was just all types of wrong. Â The second time I came for my birthday and had a blast. Â The band sung up to date songs, the drink specials were awesome, (who can beat $3) and they had crab legs for $13.00. I had such a good time I stayed until last call. Â Now this is not an upscale place, Â It is very down to earth with is being two steps above a hole in the wall. Â But I will come back for a good time!!
Review Source:I am not much of a 'club scene' person, but I did agree to go out to this sports bar with my friend. We got there around 10:30ish on a Saturday night. Parking was terrible, we had to park on the gravel way way in the back if the building. We were less than impressed. The cover was $5 which wasn't a big deal. But when we stepped in it was super crowded. There was no hostess that was seating people which would have been OK but there was standing room only! There were large areas reserved for parties that were way less than fully occupied. Empty tables with reserved signs that stayed empty all night. We ordered drinks..which were really good and a customer special but kind of small...shout out to the bartender. Oops wait..when we asked for our second drink the waitress said she had no idea what drink we were referring to and brought us out a different, less tasty, more expensive version of what we had before and was the same small size as the first one, and didn't mention that there was a price difference until we got our bill after which we were told that the bartender ended that special right after he served us..
After we begged a party to give us one of their empty, unused tables we ordered the same fried fish dinner which was good but not hot , more like room temp. The good thing about the place was the DJ was good and really hyped up the crowd. My friend didn't like that he played so much old school music but I liked it. She thought the crowd was a bit 'mature' for her taste but i didnt mind. The DJ did play some current music and their were some younger people there scattered about. Overall our experience was less than what we expected. However I may venture back because they offer different forms of entertainment on each night of the week. This time Marshall's was a bust. Maybe it'll be better next time.
Great place to go for live music and drinks..or to get your dance on if you like hanging with the older crowd. Living out in this area its not much to do other than stonecrest so I figured i would give it a shot. I have a great time every time I go, the drinks are great, the bartenders are attentive and friendly, and the people are cool and down to earth.
O yeah and they got some AWESOME crablegs.. If you are in the area I would reccomend...depending on the DJ you might hear some pretty good music and cut a rug :)
I think they have live music on fridays and happy hour specials
Not much to do in Conyers. Â I find myself driving into Atlanta for a cool spot, until some coworkers of mine invited me to this place for a birthday. Â I have to admit, I didn't think it would be all that great being in Conyers and all. Â But once I walked in I loved what I seen and heard. Â They were playing good music, serving good drinks, and good food as well. Â A big plus is the live entertainment. Â I will continue going here when I have the urge to go out..
Review Source:I heard about this place awhile ago while getting a haircut. I've actually been there about four times. The first two times I went there it was dead as a hell. The staff that worked there said that people tend to show up later at night.
If you live or visited the area, then you know there's not much in terms of entertainment. It has a generous amount parking, but when there's a good crowd, people usually "create" their own parking spot. The problem is, the Sports Bar isn't too far away from a division/condos and from what I hear, cars have been towed when parked illegally.
The inside of the bar is pretty big. Like most sports bars today, it has its mandatory amount of TVs. The things are all over the place, even the bathroom. You have no excuse to miss a damn thing. The food isn't bad. It was actually better than what I expected. They have a number of drink deals.
They have live bands Thursday-Saturday I believe. That's when the place is most packed. They also have a small dance floor for anyone that wants to shake a leg.
If I'm feeling to lazy to venture to Atlanta, but want to get out, I'll probably continue to try this place out once in a blue moon.
