I didn't even realize there was an upstairs, but loved the atmosphere downstairs. Â Live piano music and lots of people enjoying themselves. Â I tried the a couple of the martinis among their two page list. Â I have to admit they kind of sucked me in with the names of the martinis like Etta James, Aretha Franklin, etc...
Maybe it was sympathy that I was sipping alone and from out of town but my bill was way cheaper than what I thought it would be.
Martini's is a decent place to start your night. Â One neat thing about Martini's is the contrast between the two levels. Â Downstairs, you'll find people calmly sipping cocktails by live piano music (drinks are served in glassware), while upsairs it's tequila shots, blacklights and booty shaking (drinks are served in plasticware)--almost like two different bars altogether. Â I paid $55 for a round of 11 soco shots (not a steal, but i've seen much worse). Â The staff was pretty mediocre except for one really nice bartender at the upstairs bar. Â Oh, and they had adult swim playing on a big projector.
