OK, been there twice. First time OK but portions were very small however the bar menu/happy hour deals helped. Â Now it starts going down hill...Second time, happy hour/bar deals are gone so back to full price, OK if it's good and better portions. Nope $7 small side salad, $10 small cheese pizza, and get this $11.50 kids meal ($8 chicken tender/$3.50 chocolate milk) !!!!!!! Â Actually menu kinda sucks overall, just strange options, limited choices, and overpriced. Â To bad because place is nice inside but unless they get the menu/kitchen going they are doomed.
Review Source:I was super excited to try this restaurant and loved the atmosphere but was super disappointed by our service. The menu is definetly overpriced especially the island salad. For nearly 12 bucks you get a pile of lettuce, 2 strawberries, and a few nuts( it comes with blue cheese  but my mom didn't want it) for 6 extra dollars you can add meat, I'm scared to see how much meat they give you. When brought to the waitresses attention she said well it clearly states on the menu what's on the salad.  We were told it would take longer to split a bill 2 ways. Very disappointting  and over priced. I gave 2 stars only bc the grouper sandwich and tropicali pizza were good.
Review Source:Was in town for the Fourth and had dinner here on the 5th. Â For the cost and for all its pretentions, this place was a disappointment.
My server may or may not have been called "Bam-Bam" (really) but I will never forget him as he was a sweaty, freaked-out mess. Â If the owners do not suspect him of being on something illegal, they should. Â Yikes.
Had the shrimp cocktail, which, despite this restaurant being on the Gulf, had definitely been frozen. Â They were of a good size, but I was surprised that, really, I could have gotten the very same shrimp in Minnesota.
I also had the pizza, which could have stood another couple minutes in the oven -- underdone and soggy, that, too, was disappointing...
I have tried this place twice and it leaves a lot to be desired. Â The servers have not been trained properly and as you sit there waiting for your drink or food your table will be passed several times by management people that are looking straight ahead not table level. Â You can not even make eye contact. Â It is too bad because the island needs something like this. Â They have a long way to go.
