Finally, after such a long time of wanting to come here....
After much conversation about which of our favorite places in Duvall we wanted to go for dinner, my boyfriend and I settled on trying something new. Â We have been looking at Match's menu for quite some time but never found that perfect day. Â
We have pretty different views on what we will eat and not, so going out is a nice way to get what we both really want. Â I am a vegan and he is your average "boy." Â
We ordered from home before leaving and stopped on our way to pick up a movie to watch with dinner. Â It was a Saturday night around 5:30 and the restaurant was dead. Â Maybe a total of 4 patrons were in there. Â I decided to not judge based on that, plus that meant that we had no wait and our food was ready by the time we had arrived! Â I Â had ordered a beet salad with no cheese and he ordered the New Italian panini. Â Â Those 2 items cost $25.00!!!!!
When I picked up the boxes to walk back outside, I thought we were missing something. Â It was so incredibly lite that I had to open them and make sure we got all of our food. Â It was there, but I can't guarantee that it was "all" there. Â My "full"-sized salad had a few sprigs of mixed greens, about 4 beet slices and no more than 6 pistachio's. Â The dressing was supposed to be orange vinaigrette, but I couldn't taste anything but oil. Â And yes I shook it well before adding it. Â
The look on my boyfriends face was priceless when he opened  his dinner.  His sandwich was smaller than the size of a piece of sliced bread.  Before he even finished eating he was planning what he was going to pull out of the pantry to make next.
If we even go again, we will be sure to have eaten first. Â Maybe (hopefully) the coffee and wine is better!
