Great authentic food.  The food is pretty good.  if you like marguritas then you will love this place

This place is not messing around with their portion. I bet nobody leave this place hungry. Cute decor and ambiance. Friendly staff and great service. Tried their chile verde burrito and menudo. My chile verde burrito came with guacamole and salad on the side. My husband requested extra intestines and the waiter gave him an extra bowl of parts that were not on the menu. Food is scrumptious and plentiful. They also have a full bar and the waiter told me that they can make us anything we want. Anything...Too bad we came for brunch and can't stomach alcohol early in the morning. So we'll be back for the drinks next time.

We used to go to the big place down the street.  Then we tried Max's.  Great food and somewhat cheaper. The service is always very quick and the servings are very large. I imagine there is fancier Mexican food, but what they serve is exactly how I like it. From my point of view, it's as good as it gets. My wife likes it, too, and she's harder to please than I am.
