Honestly, we stopped here for one item. Â A $1 Large Diet Coke. Â At the first window, where we went to pay the girl at the window said "One Large Coke, rIght?" And I said, "Diet Coke" she paused, and said "Yeah, second window". Â When I left the drive-thru and tasted it, it was regular Coke. Â
So, I turned around and took the soda back into the restaurant. Â They told me that I could replace it at the fountain, and did not offer any apology. They were apathetic and unprofessional about it.
I actually can't have real sugar, and a full regular Coke would have made me nauseous. What if I were a diabetic? What if I had high blood pressure? Something so small could make someone ill. If you're going to do something wrong, at least apologize and own up to it.
I'll avoid this McDonald's in the future, and go to any of the other dozen nearby.
Besides. I have a feeling that these same kids will be working here 20 years from now.
