McMenamins Roseburg Station Pub & Brewery

Loved it! I like most McMenamins locations and this one was no exception. This old train station is charming and awesome. As we sat in our booth enjoying McMenamins brews, I was fascinated by the eclectic arrangement of light fixtures on the ceiling. This place is well lit and open which only adds to the charm. The staff was amazing and the food was fantastic. Their Bacon Poppin' Daddy Sandwich was invented by one of their own and it was fantastic. Though I like trying new places, next time I'm in Roseburg, I don't think I would want to eat anywhere else. I'm sold to Roseburg Station Pub & Brewery.

This restaurant used to have the absolutely best home made fries. They changed the way they make them somewhere along the line which we discoverd last October on our way home from a stamp show. The change in the recipe for making the fries was done for consistency in all their restaurants but was a mistake in my opinion.
This former Southern Pacific train station is worth the vist just to see the builidng but now that the fries are just like so many of the other average to bad ones out there we won't eat here anymore.

Meh...as usual for this company, it is very middling. Their beer is average, on the side of pedestrian. Their food is also very average. Service, average. I absolutely LOVE the way this company uses and preserves old historic structures. However, that doesn't really make up for its lackluster experience.
