Michaels Restaurant

Last night I ordered a sausage pizza.  My first eyebrow-raise was when the waitress said it would be about 30 minutes, but that was tolerable.  The pizza itself - a thin-crust - was average, though the crust was overdone, very brown/black around the edges.  My wife and I have eaten there before several times.  The first time was very good but the others were average.  A Sunday morning smorgasbord breakfast was very good.

This use to be a pretty good spot back in the day but the last few times I have been there, the food has been very subpar.  This last time especially, the food and service was awful.  The meat was very overcooked and dry and we had to ask for utensils, menus, napkins, more drinks.  Won't be back anytime soon unless things shape up.  Too bad because it was a good spot at one time.

Ate at Michaels recently for their prime rib night. I ordered the prime rib rare; it came out well done. The prime rib was a dry, flavorless piece of beef. The sides were nothing to wright home about. The service, while adequate, was nothing special. While I have no complaints about the service, it was not enough to overcome the poor quality of the food.
