The bar is cool. Â Staff is friendly enough, aside from the bitchy bartender who always makes my drink too weak. (skinny, tall, about 30, brown hair, dresses like a teenager, pointy face.) Â Its a good place to go when you want to run into people you know, and the atmosphere is always lively and inviting.
They have live music on the weekends, and its always good.
I ate lunch here one day and was sorely disappointed. Â I'm pretty sure the croutons on my salad were just dry stuffing mix with no seasoning. Â I think the salad was Iceburg lettuce, those croutons, and some tomatoes. Â Crap. Â So I ordered the turkey sandwich, payed ten bucks for something I could have made at home for less than a dollar. Not bad, edible, but nothing special. Â But, my friend ordered a burger and fries, and those came out pretty well. Â So, you go here for lunch when you want a good burger. Â They cook it on a flat top I'm guessing because the meat is a little crunchy on the ends, which is just the way I like it.
A great local bar. Â Friendly bartenders, good strong drinks and lots of space to spread out in. Â They have tons of drink specials and a grill adjacent to the bar where you can order food. Â Seems like a happening place with tons of regulars! :) Also, they open early to serve bloody Marys and screwdrivers if it's been that kind of day for you.
