This is a great place for a quick bite while in the area. They're only open for lunch (I think 11-1), but they specialize in down home cooking. They make excellent fried chicken and always offer many takes on cornbread (Bacon and Jalepeno is a bit much, but hey). They even do liver and onions from time to time. That's pretty down home if you ask me. If you work in the area, as I do, you gotta try it out. The wait staff are always friendly, whether you're a regular or not, and they get you in and out quick.
