Mike's Pizza

The pizza is pretty good for the area. They are a little heavy on the cheese and I wish they would cook the crust a bit longer to avoid becoming soggy. I am a fan of veggie pizzas and was kind of bummed to learn they don't put spinach or broccoli on it.

I hope they expand their menu and start offering coupons in mailers or something.

Veggie Pizza tonight from Mike's Pizza, Hedgesville, WV.

We had finished about six errands and were driving by and wanted to try them out. This has olives, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, sliced tomatoes, and banana ring peppers. BIG HIT with wifey. A bit "heavy" for me (lots of cheese). We froze this half for another meal.

I believe the pizza-maker is Mike himself. He went out of his way to make sure it was right for us. I explained I had reflux, so he gave me a sample of the tomato sauce to try...it was mild.  

Generally this is carry out or delivery. There are a few basic tables for two if you decide to eat in. We were prepared to eat out of the box but the counter person brought two durable plastic plates and real flatware. Both the counter person and delivery guy asked if everything was OK. (Yes, it was)
