The name is misleading it is not really a cafe but a bar. Â With that said it is a very nice bar. Â The interior is clean and well decorated with a classy feel. Â They have by far the best wine selection in town and their monthly wine tastings are always a wonderful time. Â The staff and manager have always been very nice and attentive. Â If you want a classy place to have a drink and a conversation this is your best bet in the burg. I will say the food while very good doesn't really match the rest of the place. Â The menu is mostly sandwiches. Â You would expect something more gourmet at such a nice place. Â The sandwiches are large and very tasty, so come hungry.
Review Source:I came here Friday night and was slightly put off by the darkened windows, when I turned the knob to the second door inside it buzzed at me... I turned the knob again as it buzzed and I stepped into the small bar type place which had about 5 slot machines, several flat screen TV's, and about 6 tables (everyone staring at me which felt strange). This is one of those seedy bar type places WV secretly has, although this place has been opened a few short months and is called a "cafe" (it's not really what'd I'd consider a cafe... dad says its code for bar, heh). The place has an oak interior and is a very clean establishment, their is smoking inside (which was a downside because it was bothering my allergies).
The menu consists of mostly sandwiches and wraps, just a small bar type menu. I had the Ultimate Cheese Steak Sandwich which was a good sandwich although my buns started to disengrate from all the juices in it and my top bun was a bit cold which I found odd. The fries were good, the beer was cold, I wouldn't mind trying to stop by again although it does seem to be an older more local type crowd (your race may be an issue in this type of establishment, eheh). The place seemed to be ran by one guy who was working the bar, making the food, acting as hostess, and a server... that's a rare find in itself and definately a skill!
